Annie Johnson surrounded by her children and grandchildren

We invite you to join us at Willow Creek Bed and Breakfast and experience the hidden pleasures of bed and breakfast hospitality.  Back to an era when the pace was less hurried, the conversation more relaxed, and the meals hearty and delicous.  This beautiful four square praire home, built in 1918 for the Annie Johnson family, has been lovingly restored to it's original beauty inside and out.

John and Annie homesteaded here from Wisconsin in 1889.  John died in 1907 leaving Annie alone to raise their 11 children.  Her sons took over the farming and Annie's family has continued to live here through the years until 1996.  In January of 2007, the homestead returned to the family when Annie's great grandson and wife, Darrell and Carole Larson purchased the homestead along with Willow Creek Country school, a granary which is now "Grandma's Granary", a barn and 10 acres.

There are three guest rooms for your enjoyment. Each room has an individual style and 1940's decor of it's own.  All the rooms have air conditioning, television, clock radio/cd player, and the availability to make coffee, tea or cocoa.  Our rate includes a full, lamp light farm breakfast served every morning at 8 am in the dining room. Come join us for the peace and beauty of country living.
